Old Houses, Frozen Lakes and Vermont Mud Season

CIRCA’s itinerary for a mud-season Saturday went Vermont something like this:

1️⃣ Breakfast at the historic Barnard General Store, to taste their famous pancakes and check in on ol’ George on the lake (IYKYK!).

2️⃣ Walk the workshop of ShackletonThomas with furniture maker and woodworker Charles Shackleton. Chairs, tables, credenzas—everything in their workshop is handmade and beautiful! We’ll swing through the pottery of Miranda Thomas Pottery, too!

3️⃣ Tour the stunning Echo Ledge Farm (now on the market!!) with Dia and Story Jenks of LandVest Vermont. Carefully and lovingly restored, we’re so excited to see this classic Vermont farmhouse for ourselves!

All weekend long, our team kept warm-as-can-be as we explored the Green Mountain State in the midst of Vermont mud season, thanks to our friends at Askov Finlayson, who kindly outfitted us with their classic parkas in a range of gorgeous colors.
