I’m Tracy Mathis, Broker/Owner and REALTOR® of The Southern Homes Real Estate Team, an independent Louisiana brokerage. My husband, Cory, and I have owned our business together since 2010, helping buyers and sellers throughout Greater Baton Rouge and communities across South Louisiana.

With 19 years in real estate and 12 years of prior experience as a mortgage loan officer, I bring a practical understanding of both the property and financial sides of a transaction. My career includes more than $350 million in sales and over 2,000 closings, serving everyone from first-time buyers and relocating families to clients buying and selling luxury properties.

For sellers, I combine thoughtful pricing, careful preparation, and professional marketing to help each property stand out. Photography, cinematic video, aerial imagery, virtual tours, dedicated property websites, and targeted advertising connect our listings with buyers locally and beyond.

For buyers, I provide personal guidance through the home search, negotiations, inspections, and closing. My mortgage background helps me explain financing options, anticipate potential obstacles, and work closely with lenders to keep the transaction moving forward.
