Introducing the historic John T. Stevens House, Circa 1918. This distinguished 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath, brick Colonial Revival, is located in the heart of Historic Kershaw, SC. Nestled on more than an acre, with an in-ground pool, detached garage and magnificent gardens.

The house was originally built for prominent businessman John T. Stevens, but is also referred to as the ’Dr. Blackwell House’, who has been the owner since the early 1970’s. Most of the signature design elements remain intact, including leaded glass features, elaborate plaster moldings, quarter-sawn oak floors with teakwood borders, a fireplace in almost every room, grand tuscan columns and porte-cochere. There is even the original central vacuum system installed in the early 1920’s!

Inside, the main level showcases a grand foyer and sweeping staircase crowned by a crystal chandelier. Formal entertaining spaces include double parlors on each side of the entry, a large dining room, a cozy sitting room located just off the kitchen, and sunroom. The large eat-in kitchen has today’s modern conveniences including Thermador appliances, gas cooktop and double ovens, and separate pantry.

The primary suite is on the main floor and includes the main sleeping room plus a 2nd bedroom room that is connected by a dressing room and bath in between.
