Dean deTonnancourt is the founder, broker-owner, and CEO of REMAX Revolution, a top-producing real estate brokerage with almost 300 agents across six offices in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Recognized by Providence Business News as the top residential brokerage in the state by transactions closed in 2024, the firm has grown from a single office into one of New England’s most established brands and consistently ranks among the Top 5 brokerages in the state.

Dean has spent more than 37 years in real estate. He started as an agent, then brought two then-unknown brands to Rhode Island before he converted his 300-agent firm to REMAX Revolution, a move he made for the future of his agents. In 2024 he grew the firm’s commercial real estate presence. He has also acquired and relaunched Nexus Training Academy, rebuilding its curriculum to train the next generation of agents.
What has stayed constant is what he cares about most: building careers, and building the environment that lets people succeed on their own terms. That focus shapes how he leads, recruits, and teaches.

A longtime educator and speaker, Dean is a former president of the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS and has served the industry at the state and national levels including on several National Association of REALTORS committees. He has been recognized as a RISMedia Top 500 Power Broker and named to the RealTrends Top 1000 and the Swanepoel Power 1000.
