Formerly Director of Sponsored Programs at SUNY Fredonia, Maggie Bryan-Peterson is “retired” an enjoying the innkeeper lifestyle along with business partner Jeff Peterson. Jeff Peterson and Maggie Bryan-Peterson are the sole owners of the Edwards Waterhouse property and live at the Inn year around. The Petersons are hands-on owners who oversee every aspect of the Inn’s operations. Jeff Peterson has worked tirelessly throughout the past 18 years of ownership of the property to restore and improve the facility, utilizing his wide variety of trades’ skills. Maggie Bryan-Peterson is known for her interest in historic preservation and décor, warm social skills, culinary ability and financial/business acumen. Both of the Petersons staff the Inn, splitting responsibilities, utilizing intermittent short-term contract assistance as periodic demands on the facility dictate.
