About Rachel Anderson

Rachel Anderson is a REALTOR® and Broker with Coldwell Banker Plourde Real Estate in Waterville, Maine, serving Waterville, Winslow, Oakland, Augusta, Skowhegan, China Lake, and the Belgrade Lakes.

After 24 years and more than 900 sales across Central Maine, I’ve learned that finding the right home has less to do with square footage than with how you want to live.

I specialize in distinctive properties, waterfront homes, and rightsizing moves. For some clients, that means more room. For others, it means less upkeep, a lakeside retreat, or a home closer to the people they love.

Every listing I take begins with one question: who is most likely to buy this home, and why? The answer shapes everything that follows, from preparation and pricing to marketing and negotiation, from our first walkthrough until the keys change hands.

For buyers, I focus on what matters before the offer, not after the inspection. Rural and lakefront Maine has its own rulebook, from wells and septic systems to acreage and shoreland zoning, and I raise those questions early. If I don’t know an answer, I find it.

I also guide families through the sale of a parent’s estate with patience and a trusted network of estate attorneys, cleaners, and furniture resellers. And for clients relocating to Central Maine from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or back home to Maine, I make a long-distance move simple.

My work has been recognized with Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Elite, President’s Circle, and Diamond Society awards.

I was born in Waterville, raised in the Larone area of Fairfield Center, and lived in Benton for 27 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1998 and served in the New Hampshire Air National Guard from 1994 to 2006, including service in Operation Enduring Freedom.

Today, I live in Winslow with my husband, Chad, and our dog, Keya, and I’m a proud member of the Winslow VFW.
