About Adrian Brown

My love for real estate was formed when I was a partner in a multi-store home furnishings business and the reason I came to NC. Helping people “make home” was a natural step toward helping people transition to and from their perfect idea of home. Licensed in 2004, I practiced real estate brokerage until 2009, making a commitment to return after exploring other opportunities including time on staff at the Durham Chamber of Commerce. In 2015 I restarted my real estate career, and in 2017 launched Inhabit Real Estate with my business partner. Inhabit is a boutique firm with a growing team of agents who all have strong local market knowledge, and for whom real estate is a career. I live in a late 60’s brick cape cod in Durham’s Duke Forest which is slowly undergoing renovations and much needed modernizing (especially as it is surrounded by so many amazing mid-century modern homes). I love to vacation in tropical locations and I’m slowly checking off international destinations that I’ve longed to visit. In addition to my work with sellers
