About the Artist:

Emily Barton was trained as an architect and historic preservationist but has always had a lifelong passion for art. Her recent series, focused in Chicago and Detroit, attempt to showcase the beautiful potential and promise behind America’s forgotten buildings and helps to record moments in modern cities as they change.
