The Mansion at Fort Chiswell is a historic home located in Max Meadows, VA which is Southern VA in Wythe County. It was constructed in 1840 by Stephen and Joseph McGavock. The Mansion is a beautiful brick Greek Revival architecture style dwelling. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in May 1971.
