The Mansion At Fort Chiswell

The Mansion at Fort Chiswell is a historic home located in Max Meadows, VA which is Southern VA in Wythe County.  It was constructed in 1840 by Stephen and Joseph McGavock. The Mansion is a beautiful brick Greek Revival architecture style dwelling.  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in May 1971. Recent ownership has been upgrading, preserving, and maintaining the integrity of this magnificent property.
