This Queen Anne style with wraparound porch and stained glass window was originally built by the owner of the local saddlery in town. In its early days, it was a 3 story boarding house. For the last 75 years it has been the home of one family. In the 1970s we added a garage that served as a workshop and storage (dedicated electricity, with a second story storage attic). All hardwood floors and wide pine floors remain intact, plus original woodwork, trim, hardware. Electricity service is modern (panel is in basement), with town water/sewer, and natural gas stove and heat (recent updated gas heat system) — the original cast iron radiators all work great, and the heating system serving it was replaced about 5 years back. Lots of built-in features like shelving in the LR, a window-seat over the living room radiator, plenty of closets with built in shelving, mud room, large pantry with window, additional closet off the kitchen/mudroom (also windowed, fully shelved), etc. Basement is semi finished (sealed floor, fieldstone walls) and served as woodworking space. Laundry is in basement, and the lallycolumns are tree trunks. Solid!  Bulkhead doors provide access to basement via custom doors in deck. Modern back deck 224sf, the front wraparound is 221sf, and the garage is 384sf. Town ordnance permits the expansion of the upper story of garage into a rental unit if owner-occupied.
Back yard has perennials and a vegetable garden, with a large deck (pressure treated wood, proper and level foundation). Among the perennials are a pair of 100 yr old Concord Grape vines that still yield a good crop.
It’s a short walk to the train (in either direction), with shopping and good schools, as well as conservation areas.
