I have always had a passion for older homes. I grew up in an older home in a historic district in High
Point, NC and it stuck from there! I studied art and architecture at the College of Charleston in
Charleston, SC and after graduation moved back to High Point. I pursued my interest by getting my real
estate license and helping other people discover the beautiful details of an older home.
I restored my first home in 1996 and since then have remodeled, restored, and preserved many homes
in High Point. Along with this, I have assisted many buyers with remodeling their old home purchases
and shared contacts for work needed. With my many years in the business I have a vast list of trades and
craftsmen needed for an old home remodel. In 2010, I received the Gertrude S. Carraway award of merit
from the Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina for the Briles House project on N. Main
Street in High Point.
Through my experience of remodeling and selling older homes, I know about the special guidance
buyers and sellers need when buying or selling an older home. An older home is in a different category
and requires an experienced agent to give it the attention needed. I love helping clients buy or sell their
