Originally from the Midwest, I spent three decades in California — including six unforgettable years in San Francisco — where my love affair with old houses truly began. My husband, Michael, is an award-winning architect, and together we’ve made a life out of restoring and reimagining historic homes. Our first was a cozy 600-sq-ft cottage in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood, a tiny gem that sparked a lifelong passion.

We first discovered Savannah on what was meant to be a quick “side trip” while touring East Coast colleges for our daughter. Yes, it was July — hot and humid — but we were immediately captivated by the city’s breathtaking homes, moss-draped squares, and unmistakable Southern charm. We dove right in, purchasing a 1919 Four Square as our first local renovation project.

For an old-house lover, living in Savannah is like being a kid in a candy store. Every day, I pinch myself walking through this magical city. As an active member and volunteer with the Historic Savannah Foundation, I’m proud to help preserve its architectural treasures and connect like-minded buyers with historic homes.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a piece of Savannah’s history, I’d love to share my knowledge, network, and passion for preservation to help you find your perfect home here in the “Hostess City of the South.” Follow our latest renovation projects on Instagram at @homeinsavannah.
