For Rochester native Katie Andres, joining The Bonnie Pagano Team at CORE Agency RE feels like coming full circle. Bonnie walked her through the process of purchasing her very first home, an1868 farmhouse with a barn in Pittsford, back in September 2016.
Having left New York State to pursue various professional opportunities over the years, Katie understands the powerful pull of The Flour City! Although she misses the Pacific-Northwest and refuses to give up her 206 area code out of sentimentality, Rochester will always be home.
Passionate about local history and preservation, Katie’s an advocate of adaptive reuse. If you’re tired of cookie-cutter houses, interested in historical properties with long lives, or looking for a former farmhouse of your very own, Katie’s fully in your corner! In fact, she recently started up her side business, “Leveraging a Legacy” to assist fellow Realtors in marketing landmark and historic homes built before 1960.
In her spare time, she and her husband are knee-deep into rehabbing a 1900s Victorian multi-family property they own located a stone’s throw from Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts. Her husband Matt, a classically trained carpenter and contractor, is happily showing their son his favorite “tricks of the trade” along the way!
