About Chad & Karey

The Chad & Karey Team was formed in 2010 by Chad Loblaw and Karey Grover with a vision to offer knowledge and guidance to buyers and sellers in the Finger Lakes and Rochester regions. It’s our goal to fully understand the needs of each individual or family and to personally assist our clients through every step of the process. No property is too big or too small, and we look forward to the opportunity to help all of our customers find the home of their dreams!

We both work full time as real estate professionals and we work as a team in order to provide our clients with as much scheduling flexibility as possible. We have 20+ years of combined experience in real estate and have spent that time not only as agents but as students of the local real estate market. Our time has been spent gathering as much knowledge and information as possible about all of the “best practices” in the industry, so that you can rest assured knowing your home sale is in the hands of seasoned, experienced professionals.

In addition to developing our expertise in the general market, which includes typical home sales in neighborhoods, towns and villages, we have also gained extensive experience in handling unique properties. We’ve worked with a variety of B&Bs, lakefront properties, and historic homes, as well as small farms and homes / lots with unconventional configurations. We’re always excited for the opportunity to learn more about unique homes and we embrace the challenge to provide the best possible outcome for our clients!

In addition to a love of and appreciation for homes and properties, Karey is an avid equestrian and loves spending her free time riding horses. She lives in Canandaigua and owns waterfront property on Canandaigua Lake, so she has first-hand knowledge of the unique issues affecting homeowners in the lake community. When she’s not riding horses or selling houses, she enjoys spending time with her two sons; one is a student at Rochester Institute of Technology and the other has been drafted by a professional ice hockey team.

Chad is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and a lifelong resident of the local area. He has lived in Auburn Meadows in Farmington since the community’s inception with his wife and two children, along with their dogs Pia and Pearl. His wife Amy works as a therapist and his two children attend school in the Canandaigua School District, excelling in soccer, basketball and music.

It’s important to us that our clients receive the personal attention they deserve. We collaborate with a variety of professionals, including professional photographers, videographers, copywriters, social media / digital marketing experts, graphic artists and administrators so that we can best assist our clients in reaching their goals. But it’s our philosophy that the needs of the client are best served by working directly with their agent, and so if you hire us, you’ll be working with us!
