About Jeanne Fredericks

My husband and I have enjoyed antiques and antique architecture for over 50 years.  Our first home was a 1739 CT Saltbox, and our current home is a 1694 NH Saltbox that was moved to CT in the 1930s.  When we heard that this Saltbox was going to be bulldozed, we knew we had to rescue it, if not for ourselves then for someone else who appreciates the special character and beauty of this colonial architectural style. I’ve edited and represented books on antiques and collectibles, and run the Antiques and Fine Arts Book Club, and my husband is on the board of Historic Deerfield and of our local historical museum and historical society.
