About GeorgiaNettles

Georgia grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia on a horse farm built by George Washington’s first cousin, Warner Washington. She spends time every summer on the coast of Maine in a house that has been in the family since 1896. This is how her love for historic property began. In 1995 Georgia moved south to attend the College of Charleston, lured by the history and culture of this great city. After a few years working in sales and marketing for a historic plantation, Georgia realized that Real Estate was really where she belonged. While Georgia’s focus is on historic properties in and around Charleston, she has lived in a variety of locations around town and is experienced in listing and selling an array of property types. She has listed and sold high end historic downtown and beachfront property and along with her husband, she has purchased and renovated several homes. Being an avid equestrian has given her the knowledge and skill to aid in the search for horse property. Since 2013 she has consistently been awarded the prestigious Realtor of Distinction® award with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors which is only given to the top 10% of all sales producing Charleston Realtors. Georgia is also very involved in the local Realtor association and the community. In 2010 she was appointed to the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Grievance (Ethics) Committee, which is a highly selective process. In 2014 she became the Chair of the committee. In 2016 she joined the selection committee for the Association’s Board of Directors and in 2017 she joined the Professional Standards committee. She has also done extensive work with the Charleston Wine + Food Festival and the Spirit of South Carolina, along with many other clubs and organizations. Customers love Georgia’s ability to think outside the box. This combined with the extraordinary tools at her fingertips through Sotheby’s International Realty and her attention to detail, make Georgia an exceptional choice for all of your real estate needs. Georgia resides in Mount Pleasant with her husband, Brian and their twins, Alexandra and Walker (and lab, Piper).
