About Elizabeth Denney

Elizabeth Denney is a Marietta native with a passion for people and properties. Most of her career has been focused on sales and marketing, first in a company she founded brokering telephone and computer equipment, next as a Marketing Director, and then as a New Business Development Rep for IBM. Prior to joining Johnny Walker Realty, Elizabeth was President and Owner of Smith James Group, a retained executive search firm with a 22-year history of success.

Real estate has always been a focus of her family, with cousins, aunts, and uncles in the business, and her own mother recently retired from real estate after thirty plus years as a residential and commercial agent. It was no surprise when Elizabeth decided to make the shift into the business full time.

Elizabeth is an avid gardener, investor, and handy woman who has purchased and transformed many Marietta properties over the last several decades. Elizabeth sits on the Board of Trustees for the Marietta Educational Garden Center, is a past Treasurer of Southern Magnolia Garden Club, a former PTA President for Marietta High School, and West Side Elementary School, and former PTA Vice-President at Marietta Middle School.

Elizabeth has been married to her husband, Mark, since 1998, and has three young adult sons who attended all their school years in the Marietta City School System. They are proud Marietta High School graduates and Blue Devil supporters.
