About Mark Kanter

Mark Thomas Kanter is a real estate agent uniquely qualified to help you, whether you are looking for the perfect home, or for the perfect buyer.  Mark works in Real Estate because it combines his love for working with people, and his love for buildings and design.  Mark is a visual artist, a teacher of painting and drawing, and has an extensive background in design and construction.  He has the right combination of experience in visual aesthetics, in building, and in real estate to help you through and every step of your property needs. In addition to working in real estate, Mark has taught Painting and Drawing at numerous institutions, including Columbia University in the City of New York, Dartmouth College and SUNY New Paltz.  He has exhibited in New York City, regionally in the U.S, internationally, and locally in the Hudson Valley where he lives with his artist wife, their Yellow Lab Liona, and occasionally their 19 year old, writer son when he’s home from college.  Locally his work can be seen at Cross Contemporary Art in Saugerties, NY.
