Don’t you just LOVE seeing work-in-progress photos? I could really look at this stuff all day long. Today’s before-and-after comes to us from Bootheel of Missouri in the small town of Naylor. Kudos to Barco Construction on this fabulous exterior renovation. Love it! Read on for lots of yummy photos.

“We did a complete restoration of this late 1800’s home. The house was fairly weathered and most of the spindle and rail work was rotted beyond repair. The roof was structurally sound but the shingles needed to be replaced. Poor guttering caused severe dry rot on one side of the house. This had to be reworked and a larger guttering system had to be installed.
We stripped the paint down to raw wood Cyprus siding, replacing damaged siding as needed. We copied spindles and trim work from originals to replace the damaged and missing pieces. We installed a new roof, guttering, and did a very detailed three-color paint job. Hand-carved newel posts were copied and replaced in a couple areas.”
