Description

Offered for sale by the QQA for $299,000, the Woodruff House, at 1017 E. 8th St., Little Rock, was built in 1852-1853 by William Woodruff, the founder and first publisher of the Arkansas Gazette.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is one of only a few homes remaining in Little Rock from this time period. The QQA acquired the house in 2014 to save it from demolition and has stabilized and secured it for future rehabilitation, including replacing composition shingles with new underlayment and a 20-year architectural shingled roof in 2016.

The property sits on a large parcel near the vibrantly developing are now known as East Village.  Additional details and restoration incentives can be found at www.woodruffhousear.com

With your support we are able to save the Woodruff House and carry out our mission, preserving greater Little Rock’s Historic Places.
