About This Old House

The Riegel mansion occupies a site on Spring Garden Street in the midst of one of the principal residential blocks of downtown Easton. The house is one of Easton’s premier residences and represents the economic position and wealth of the Riegel family in pre-Depression Easton. The house gains in significance as the work of noted Easton native architect, William Michler and contains numerous works by the Philadelphia master stained glass artist, Nicola D’ascenzo.
