Originally built in 1901 by JA Tesh, for entrepreneur William E Merritt of Mount Airy who’s interests helped develop the town. Now operating as a bed and breakfast, the owners restored the property to original elegance and charm, true to its history. Also located on the grounds, is a one bedroom innkeeper’s house. The owners are including the 1939 Fleetwood Imperial Cadillac, 7 seats with jump seats, 350 Buick V-8 engine, 3-speed transmission, AC, Heat, Satellite Radio, GPS & mobile phone. This antique vehicle is often used to take b&b guests to dinner in luxury, and on personal wine tours.
