About This Old House

This Folk Victorian cottage features a front porch with turned columns. It was once the home of the last surviving Confederate veteran in Danville, Mr. A. A. Moore, who lived here from the 1920s until his passing at age 93 in 1939. An architect’s report (available on request) states the building is in fair condition but requires replacement of a failed beam and floor system in a later rear addition. Could easily be made handicapped accessible. Great opportunity at this price.
