Personal interests include bicycling, arts advocacy, and public spaces. Over the years I have been part of various boards and local committees for arts, education, historic preservation and economic development. I served as treasurer for a downtown improvement district for over ten years, chair a local bicycle/pedestrian committee on the Rumson/Fair Haven peninsula, and manage a small multi-use commercial property at the Shore. Some favorite past projects include work on the revitalization of Red Bank and similar efforts in Asbury Park.
