Most people would describe me as enthusiastic, which is exactly how I feel about real estate. I love talking about it and helping clients either sell and/or find the right home. And my stats show it: I have represented over 100 transactions valued at over $60M. Since 2018, I have been consistently ranked among the top 10% of agents in the Inner East Bay and my listings have sold an average of 13% over list price in an average of 24 days on market.* I am a Bay Area native. I grew up on the Peninsula and lived in San Francisco for 5 years before moving to Berkeley in 2002. I love the culture and diversity that the East Bay brings – who wouldn’t love our fantastic restaurants, outdoor recreational spaces and fantastic weather?! Before my career in real estate, I worked for 10 years as a paralegal at a construction litigation law firm in San Francisco. I have also owned my own business and managed family-owned property remodels and sales. I am a believer in addressing issues as they come up and to take corrective action as soon as possible. I am excellent at keeping clients up-to-date on the transaction and I always tell my clients the hard news, even if they do not want to hear it. I strive to be as upfront and available as needed during the escrow process. I know personally what it is like to wait by the phone to hear if your offer has been accepted and I do not lose sight that it is the client who is either buying or selling, not me. I work hard to alleviate client stress whenever possible and try to make each step of the process as transparent as possible. I enjoy spending time with my family, knitting, bicycling, hiking, and volunteering to support my son’s school as a member of the Stewardship Committee. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and was awarded a Fulbright Hayes for intensive Swahili study in Tanzania and Zanzibar. I am a member of the National, California and Berkeley Association of Realtors.
