Nancy Gerrard is a life-long resident of La Crosse. With generations of family that have lived and worked here, Nancy treasures all the Coulee region has to offer. For Nancy, life here is about family, friends, and civic pride. Whether hiking with her husband, Rick, or watching eagles from her canoe on Lake Onalaska, Nancy cherishes every experience.

An avid equestrian, Nancy began riding as a child and enjoyed the challenge of competing, training horses and teaching others how to ride. Today, her daughters share that same passion of riding.

You will not find a more passionate proponent of La Crosse, Onalaska, and the Coulee region than Nancy Gerrard. The Gerrard family has a long history of living and working in the community. Her father, a local businessman and developer, started Gerrard Realty in 1952. Nancy started her career in 1982 and quickly rose to become Gerrard Realty’s top agent. In 1991, Nancy purchased Gerrard Realty from her father and merged with her partner, Jay Hoeschler, to form Gerrard-Hoeschler REALTORS.

Nancy’s ties to the community do not end there.Her community involvement includes serving meals to area shut ins, and serving in various capacities for many local organizations including HorseSense for Special Riders, the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Children’s Museum, Mississippi Valley Conservancy and the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra to name a few. Nancy strongly believes in giving back to a community that has given her so much opportunity and lifelong enjoyment.
