After outgrowing their Brooklyn apartment, Fiona Dogan and her family moved in 1998 to Rye. It is a community she loves. She, her husband and three children, have taken advantage of every resource and amenity in town—easily identified as she has an encyclopedic knowledge of local businesses, recreation opportunities, and culinary and cultural offerings in Rye and throughout Westchester County. After moving to Rye, her children attended the local Rye public schools, and she quickly became an active participant in the school community—managing her children’s youth sports teams (soccer and ice hockey), and serving on the Parent Teacher Organization, the school’s Curriculum Council, and the District Strategic Planning Committee. Her children grew up, but Fiona continues to play an active role in the Rye community. She serves on the board of the Rye Arts Center; she is an active member of the Children’s Philanthropy section of the Women’s Club of Rye; and is a strong supporter of the Rye YMCA, Rye Recreation, Rye Free Reading Room, and Rye Historical Society. Fiona spends her downtime biking, running, triathlon training, yoga, skiing, kick-boxing, attending foreign and indie movies, and enjoying international travel, including travel to Cambodia, Antarctica, Kenya and India. She also recently completed two 100-mile fundraising bike rides for Juvenile Diabetes, and participates annually in the Rye Turkey Trot. A recognized Westchester real estate expert, Fiona has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, and was a guest real estate blogger for the magazine New York Spaces. She’s been profiled in The Rye Record and recognized by Westchester magazine’s business publication 914 Inc.
