About Christine Basso Fitzgerald
“I have always had an innate curiosity for the details of Washington DC as a well-designed city, particularly the history of real estate design and development. That curiosity still energizes my work in representing my clients. I put myself in their life situation and work for their objectives. This philosophy gives me a deep sense of pride in trying to be of maximum service to my buyers and sellers; clients who often become enduring friends”. -Christine
About Christine Basso Fitzgerald
Realtor representation is about so much more than showing homes and writing contracts. It is a process that involves so many questions and has a domino-effect on daily life. “Can I remove this wall? If I sell my house now, how fast will I have to move out? How can I get my place ready without ruining my marriage?”
For two decades, I have invested myself in finding solutions and answers (good ones, specifically) to these questions. I ensure that every step of the transaction is organized, transparent and that we are utilizing vetted lenders and vendors to accomplish the process seamlessly. I consider my own home my best investment and took every step to ensure that it fit my lifestyle needs and that it would be a good investment over time; I do the same for my buyers and sellers with painstaking detail and prompt response.
At TTR Sotheby’s, I have been awarded Outstanding Sales Achievement Award for sales volume multiple times. I have repeat clients come back again and again as well as referral clients from past transactions.
On a personal note – because that’s what real estate is all about – I live in Georgetown, with my family; John (old), Madeleine (18), Oliver (3) and Brando (16 – the Shi Tzu with 9 lives). I am an involved daughter, a grateful mother, and a patient wife (John would agree, most of the time). I have 25-year friendships with classmates from Georgetown Visitation. I love to laugh. I thrive underwater (lifetime long distance swimmer). I enjoy oil painting and obsessively look at interior design photos. I am an avid reader, 37 books for 2020. I detest clutter and am often donating things my family members do not approve of. I want to succeed at helping the people around me; this drive becomes a great asset to my clients. I am optimistic (except when I am pessimistic), I have a strong work ethic from my father and an intuitive sense about other’s feelings. I have strong confidence in my ability to help my clients and that confidence will be evident when you meet me.
