I’d say my love for old houses began when I was little. My grandfather was a carpenter and printer, and he had built two homes in Arizona, one in Sunnyslope when the family moved here from Indiana in 1957 and one in Mayer in the early 70s. Those two homes were my “home away from home”. By age 17, I knew I wanted an architecturally significant mid-century home by local architect, Ralph Haver. I singled one out and, about 20 years later, I married an architect and we bought one — one street away from my “dream home”! Since then, I’ve discovered the joy good design and stellar architecture can bring to one’s life. I enjoy working with buyers and sellers, especially when it comes to historic, mid-century, and luxury homes. I am an advocate for thoughtful restoration as opposed to “flipping”, a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, past sponsor of modernphoenix.com, a Top Producer, member of Tom Ferry’s Elite, Paradise Valley Luxury Home Tour, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, and a lifetime member of the Marquis Who’s Who.
