Talked to your Ford lately?  Well – that experience is only getting better and easier thanks to continued research and collaboration between Ford and Nuance! Detailed in its announcement today, Ford is working closely with Nuance to make the Ford SYNC even easier to use with enhancements to the core voice capabilities that allow for a more natural and conversational interaction.  

To get a bit more technical on ya, Ford and Nuance are testing a number of new algorithms that are based on intent and meaning that can flag common words and phrases that drivers might typically use in conversation, yet are not the specific commands or syntax required by today’s SYNC system.  In other words, SYNC will hear what you say and understand what you are trying to accomplish.  Pretty neat!
