About Barbara Brandt

As a native of New Orleans, I grew up surrounded by history and beautiful architecture. I’ve always been inspired by exceptional design and quality work; and as a result was drawn to the architectural field, where I worked for over 20 years. There aren’t many architects that haven’t been involved with a home renovation or two. And yes, I’ve renovated 3 historic beauties; a fixer shotgun in New Orleans and a Craftsman and a Mid-Century in the Seattle area. Ready for a change, I happily moved from architecture to residential real estate in 2013. And now most of my Clients are friends, neighbors, or referrals from those friends and neighbors. I consider it a privilege assisting Clients in their search for a property that truly feels like home. And I’ve sold properties in most of Seattle’s neighborhoods and in almost every price range…$250k to $3.65M. For the past 4 years, I’ve been named a 5 Star broker. This distinction places me in the top 5% of real estate brokers in my area, based on Client satisfaction. The non-profit, Historic Seattle, is also a Client. And their mission is to save at-risk historic properties in our area. Historic Seattle believes that “a building isn’t beautiful because it’s old…it’s old because it’s beautiful.” I agree! Every home has a story. And I’d like to add your story to an interesting and historic home.
